I am a lesbian.  I have been blessed in a loving relationship with the same woman for almost 30 years, and am now trying to cope with no longer being a corporate foot soldier for someone else.  Yes we ARE legally married in California and now its my turn to take care of the house while my wife still teaches.  Somedays I think working with 20 six year olds at the same time might be more fun than laundry, but, hey……….you gotta do what you gotta do.

I am a college graduate, I have 4 information technology auditing certifications, and have worked in banking, high tech manufacturing, and information security my whole career.  I have travelled the world many times and it’s becoming more and more clear to me that only people from the United States of America talk about themselves in relation to their job.  I’d like to get to a point in my life where that isn’t really an essential part of my story.  Right now, however, I guess I’m still working on this.

I hope you enjoy the blog………it comes from an evening with friends, sitting around the dinner table coming up with ‘tips’ to make housekeeping more tolerable.  All suggestions for improvements, additions, etc. are considered and encouraged.
